Which industrial sites rent portable restrooms?
Plants, warehouses, distribution yards and maintenance shutdowns rent industrial portable restrooms when crews outgrow the building restrooms. Industrial areas in Santa Fe Springs and the City of Industry are a short drive from our Whittier yard. A typical industrial order combines 2 or more standard units with hand wash stations.
| Site | Typical setup | Service |
|---|---|---|
| Warehouse peak season | Standard units + hand wash stations near the dock | 2 visits a week |
| Plant shutdown or turnaround | Extra units for contractor crews | 2 visits a week during the job |
| Contractors working inside a plant | Units at the staging area | Weekly or 2x/week |
| Building restroom outage | Restroom trailer or standard units with hand washing | Weekly or more |
| Truck yard or terminal | 1–2 standard units + 1 hand wash station | Weekly |

We serve Santa Fe Springs industrial sites and nearby business parks from the same yard.
How many restrooms does an industrial crew need?
Size industrial restrooms by headcount on the busiest shift. Cal/OSHA §1526 sets at least 1 toilet per 20 workers of each sex for construction work, and we use that count as a planning floor for plant crews. One weekly service fits about 10 workers per unit; above that, plan 2 services a week.

Based on Cal/OSHA Title 8 §1526: at least 1 toilet per 20 employees or fraction of 20, of each sex. Confirm requirements with your safety officer.
| Workers per shift | Units at 2 services/week | Hand wash stations (our rule) |
|---|---|---|
| Up to 20 | 1 per sex group | 1 |
| 21–40 | 2 per sex group | 1 |
| 41–60 | 3 per sex group | 1–2 |
| 61–100 | 4–5 per sex group | 2–3 |
The construction rule is Cal/OSHA Title 8 §1526. Plant work may fall under other sections, so confirm with your safety officer.

How often are industrial portable restrooms serviced?
Industrial portable restrooms are serviced at least once a week, and that weekly visit is included in the 28-day price. Busy plants and shutdown crews usually need 2 visits a week. Extra visits are listed on your quote, and they run on set days so your crew knows when the truck comes.
- Tell us your gate hours, check-in rules and where the truck can enter.
- We put gate codes, a site contact and safety notes on the driver's work order.
- The driver pumps, cleans and restocks each unit and hand wash station.
- The visit is logged with the date. Call us to add or move a visit.
Typical starting prices for units and extra visits are in our porta potty rental cost guide.
How do you handle shutdowns and turnarounds?
A shutdown or turnaround can double or triple the people on site for a few days or weeks. Give us the peak headcount, start date and end date. For a shutdown under 1 week, we price both ways, event pricing or one 28-day cycle, and quote whichever total is lower.
Plan units for the peak shift, not the average. Put them near the contractor staging area, out of forklift lanes. Add hand wash stations where crews eat. Call by 2 p.m. to schedule pickup when the shutdown ends.

Can you replace our current restroom provider?
Yes. Switching providers takes 1 call to us: we deliver our units, and your old provider removes theirs. We do not service, pump or move another company's units, so set the swap date with both companies. Billing with us starts on our delivery date and runs every 28 days.
Ask for the same service day your crew is used to, and we will match it when the route allows.
What paperwork does a plant need from us?
Plan for 3 items before delivery: a certificate of insurance, a vendor setup for invoicing, and a site contact for the driver. We email a COI the same day you ask. Businesses can apply for net-30 invoicing, approved in about 2 business days, so each 28-day invoice goes to accounts payable.
Until net-30 is approved, the first cycle is paid by Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover or debit card. See how long-term billing works and our construction site toilet page for contractor crews.

How much is an industrial portable restroom rental?
A standard unit starts at $165 per 28 days with weekly service, plus $60 one-time delivery and pickup. A hand wash station starts at $145 per 28 days. Typical starting price as of October 2026; your itemized quote is final.

Can you send a COI to our safety department?
Yes. We email a certificate of insurance the same day you ask, to whoever you name as the certificate holder.
Can you invoice us instead of using a card?
Yes, after net-30 approval, which takes about 2 business days. The first cycle can go on a card while you wait.
Can you pump the units we already have?
No. We only service our own units. We can replace your current units with ours on a date you set with your old provider.
Our building restrooms are down. Do you have trailers?
Yes. We rent 2- and 3-station restroom trailers. Each needs about 20 feet of straight access, level ground, a 15/20-amp outlet within 100 feet, and a hose or the onboard tank.
Can the driver call our security gate?
Yes. Put the security desk number and any check-in rules on the work order. The driver calls 30 minutes before arrival.
