Which Orange County cities do you deliver porta potties to?
David Rental Works delivers porta potties to 5 north Orange County cities: La Habra, Brea, Fullerton, Buena Park and La Palma. These sit 20 to 40 minutes from our Whittier yard. Orange County has about 3.2 million residents and 34 cities; we focus on the north county edge closest to Whittier.
| City | ZIP codes we serve | Typical drive from Whittier |
|---|---|---|
| La Habra | 90631, 90632, 90633 | 20–30 min |
| Brea | 92821, 92823 | 25–35 min |
| Fullerton | 92831, 92832, 92833, 92835 | 25–40 min |
| Buena Park | 90620, 90621 | 25–35 min |
| La Palma | 90623 | 25–35 min |
Watch the county line: La Habra Heights shares ZIP 90631 with La Habra but is a separate city in Los Angeles County, with its own permit office. See our La Habra Heights page.
Who issues street permits for porta potties in Orange County?
Each of Orange County’s 34 cities issues its own encroachment permits, so rules change at every city line. La Habra, for example, takes applications by email with a site plan and insurance certificate. A porta potty on your own driveway normally needs no permit in any of the 5 cities we serve.
State highways follow Caltrans rules. In La Habra, Beach Blvd (SR-39), Imperial Hwy (SR-90) and Whittier Blvd (SR-72) are state routes. Our recommendation everywhere: keep units on private property.
Example: City of La Habra permits and fees.
Check first: General information, not legal advice. Confirm with the city that owns the street before placing a unit in it.

Which porta potties fit Orange County jobs and events?
North Orange County jobs use the same 6 unit types as our LA County work. A standard PolyJohn PJN3 handles remodels. Events add Bravo hand wash stations and at least 1 Comfort XL wheelchair-accessible unit per cluster. Weddings in Fullerton or Brea often pick a restroom trailer or deluxe Fleet (FS3).
| Orange County job | Unit we usually send | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Home remodel in Fullerton or Brea | Standard PolyJohn PJN3 | Fits a 48-inch gate; weekly service |
| School or church event in Buena Park | PJN3 row + Bravo + Comfort XL | Hand washing and accessible access |
| Backyard wedding | Restroom trailer or Fleet (FS3) | Trailer needs about 20 ft straight access |
| Commercial jobsite | PJN3, weekly service | Cal/OSHA §1526: 1 per 20 workers |
What should Orange County customers know before delivery?
Orange County customers should plan for 2 things: city-by-city rules and wind. In Santa Ana wind season, mostly October to March, we stake or strap units on request. Hillside lots near the Puente Hills and Brea need a level pad within 15 feet of the truck.
- Check HOA rules in planned communities before placing a unit in view of the street.
- Put gate codes and an on-site contact on the order.
- Ask for a certificate of insurance if a venue or school needs one.
