A weekend porta potty is delivered Friday and picked up Monday because David Rental Works drivers work 6 days, Monday–Saturday, and do not run routes on Sunday. A Friday drop means the unit is set, level and checked before your guests arrive. A Monday pickup means nobody has to wait home on Sunday night.
Friday delivery also gives you a buffer. If the gate code is wrong or the spot is too steep, we fix it Friday instead of an hour before your party. The driver calls 30 minutes ahead and places the unit where you marked.

When is a porta potty picked up on a holiday weekend?
On a holiday weekend, a porta potty is picked up on the next business day, which is usually Tuesday. Memorial Day and Labor Day always fall on a Monday, so units placed for those weekends stay through Tuesday. When July 4 lands on a Monday, the same Tuesday pickup applies.
The extra day is not billed. If July 4 falls midweek, we deliver the day before and pick up the next business day after. Holiday weekends book up early, so call 1–2 weeks ahead for Memorial Day, July 4 and Labor Day parties.

Yes. David Rental Works delivers porta potties on Saturday mornings when a driver is free, between 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. Same-day Saturday delivery works when you call by 12 noon and a unit is in the yard. A same-day Saturday fee may apply and is shown on your quote before you pay.
Saturday delivery is a good fit when your space is not free on Friday, such as a driveway you need for cars. We do not pick up on Sunday, so a Saturday drop still goes home Monday. Exact arrival times are not guaranteed; we give a window and the driver calls 30 minutes ahead.

How do I keep a porta potty secure over the weekend?
Keeping a porta potty secure over the weekend takes 4 simple steps: place the unit behind a gate or close to the house, face the door away from the street, keep it off slopes and open wind paths, and ask for staking in Santa Ana season. Customers are responsible for damage beyond normal use.
- Pick a private spot. A side yard or the top of the driveway is safer than the curb.
- Face the door inward. The door should open toward your yard, not the sidewalk.
- Keep it level and sheltered. We place units on flat, firm ground within 15 feet of the truck.
- Ask for stakes or straps. During Santa Ana wind season, mostly October to March, we stake or strap units on request.
- Close it after the party. Shut the door so wind and animals stay out until Monday.
